Malulani Health and Medical Center will be a full service, state of the art, teaching hospital for Maui's residents and visitors. No longer will the people of Maui have limited choices for comprehensive healthcare. Malulani will welcome all Maui County patients. We will also welcome the visitors to our islands. It's time we support having strong options for health care on Maui.

In 2005, Dr. Ron Kwon led an effort to establish Malulani Health and Medical Center to serve the people of Maui with the best possible healthcare available and with a true spirit of caring for the community. Despite the hundreds of thousands of dollars invested, much diligence in planning, and overwhelming community support, Malulani was not granted a certificate of need through the State of Hawaii State Health Planning and Development Association (SHPDA).

Malulani Foundation represents strong advocates that believe Maui deserves high quality hospital choices right here at home. Building a new hospital will open up opportunities to maintain and recruit doctors, attract innovative healthcare thinking and bring modern facilities and equipment to our island. Please stand with us to provide the high quality healthcare Maui citizens and visitors deserve.
One of the simplest ways to support the Malulani Foundation is with a financial contribution. The Malulani Foundation is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, which means your donation is tax- deductible to the full extent provided by law.
Please join us in this important effort by becoming a member of Malulani Foundation’s Founders Circle. Founders Circle members will be recognized on the Foundation’s website, and included in all keystone events related to the development of the hospital. For a minimum donation of $1,000 made by December 31, 2011 you will become a legacy member of Malulani Founders Circle. Donors who contribute $5,000 or more will be recognized as VIP Founders. Of course we appreciate all gifts regardless of the amount and have volunteer opportunities available for anyone who wants to support this important project.
